If you are having issues installing the VPN, we recommend allowing third party applications be installed on your OSX machine.

Instructions

  1. Click the Apple icon and open System Preferences
  2. Open Security & Privacy within System Preferences
  3. In the General tab, press the Lock button in the lower left to allow changes
  4. Enter your computer's admin username and password and press Unlock
  5. Check Anywhere in the Allow apps downloaded from: section
  6. Close the window

GlobalProtect Error
If you encounter an error where GlobalProtect continually attempts to connect but never does, please try the steps above to enable third-party applications.

Enable Apps "Anywhere" in System Preferences

If Anywhere isn't showing as an option for you, follow the instructions below:

  1. Close out of System Preferences
  2. Open the Terminal app
  3. Type the following command and press Enter: sudo spctl --master-disable
  4. Type the administrator password and press Enter

The Anywhere option should appear when following the Instructions above.
