Service Desk is receiving reports of intermittent issues completing MFA for Workday login. WPI's implementation of Workday and Salesforce relies upon Microsoft's multi-factor authentication service. WPI employees may experience issues accessing Workday and until Microsoft has resolved this issue. IT is currently working with Microsoft and will provide updates as new information becomes available.


After accessing Workday through portal.wpi.edu and entering login credentials, you are prompted with "verification sent" but the verification is never received. Therefore you cannot complete login to Workday at this time.


Users who had already signed into systems requiring MFA prior to the outage should continue to have access to those systems.  This outage is currently affecting new logins.
