Why?

Due to attacks related to the outbreak of COVID-19, phishing and the risk of compromised accounts has increased. As we all connect remotely, securing our connections to WPI is more important than ever. Phishers/hackers will not be able to change your password without an additional method of verification.

Impact

You will be able to reset your password yourself only if you have setup MFA.

Action Needed

Please confirm or set up methods of authentication. Office phone pertains to faculty and staff, but you should add as many authentication methods as possible to avoid being locked out of your account. All options are detailed in the Related Article.
