ITS received reports beginning at 10:00 am of issues with Scan-to-Email and inbound email from external sources. Additional reports of issues sending to some campus mailing lists have been reported. The issue is under investigation and we will post updates.
Impacted services for email clients connecting to smtp.wpi.edu include but are not limited to: Inability to use the scan-to-email function on scanners. UNIX mailing list recipients are not currently receiving email sent to them. UNIX mail users (Squirrel Mail from webmail.wpi.edu) cannot receive or send mail. There is no error indicating these issues. Internal mail using Exchange via the Outlook client or outlook.wpi.edu is not impacted.
