What to Expect During NSO
New Student Orientation will provide the opportunity for incoming students to connect with their peers, faculty, and staff to learn about campus life, our campus community, and assist in supporting students feel more confident as they prepare to engage in research and our project-based curriculum. For the four-day program, students will meet in their Insight teams, discuss how to incorporate balance and wellness in their life to be successful, engage in different networking opportunities and workshops during the day. The program will also offer a variety of social programs to allow students to connect and gather in the evening.
Goals of the Program
New Student Orientation is focused on assisting incoming students make connections with their peers, become more comfortable in their new environment, and feel more confident in knowing about resources and opportunities to assist in their transition to WPI and college life.
