Update Password on WPI Windows Computers From Off Campus

If you are using a WPI machine remotely, please follow these steps to update your password on the device.

Instructions

Connect to the WPI VPN
Change your password using Self Service Password Reset
Go to your Start Menu and search for and open Command Prompt
Type gpupdate /force and press Enter
Once it has been updated, press the Windows logo and L key on your keyboard to lock the screen
Log back in with your WPI username and your new password

Can't Log In to Your Machine?

If you're unable to login to your machine with the new password, try using your previous password, and then follow instructions above.
