WPI email can be saved by using the Outlook Client to create a personal folder, or Outlook Data File (a .pst file). After creating the personal folder and moving desired messages into it, you can save it to your computer or portable media.

  1. At the top of your Outlook ribbon, click File.
  2. Choose Open & Export and then select Import/Export.
  3. Choose to Export a file.
  4. Select Outlook Data File (.pst) and then click Next.
  5. Select the name of the email account to export. Only information for one account can be exported at a time.
  6. Ensure that the Include subfolders box is selected to export everything in the account, including the Calendar, Contacts, and Inbox. Then click Next.
  7. Click Browse to select where to save the Outlook Data File (.pst). Enter a file name, and choose OK to continue.
    • If you’ve used export before, the previous folder location and file name appear. Type a different file name before choosing OK.
  8. If you are exporting to an existing Outlook Data File (.pst), under Options, specify what to do when exporting items that already exist in the file.
  9. Select Finish.
