Workday End Date
All account extensions are dependent upon the employment end date being modified in Workday. Please consult Talent & Inclusion to extend the end date.

Employment end dates can be viewed in Workday (instructions in Related Article).

Once the end dates are modified, basic access including storage, email, Office 365, Canvas and Workday will be automatically provisioned.   

Prior to Account Expiration

Please work with Talent & Inclusion to extend the employment end date. Accounts/basic access are automatically updated according to this date.  This applies to:

  • Regular Fixed-Term Employee
  • Temporary Employee
  • Seasonal Employee
  • Contingent Worker

  This does not apply to Student accounts.

After an Account Expires

Active Job Record Exists

Please work with Talent & Inclusion to extend the employment end date. Accounts/basic access are automatically updated according to this date.

No Active Job Record

  • Coordinate with Talent and Inclusion to add a Workday Record.
  • Accounts/basic access will be automatically provisioned.
  • If specialized access is required:
    • To re-enable previous specialized access, please email IT or click Request Help.
    • For new specialized access please submit an IT Computer Account and Data Access Request Form to the IT Service Desk. (See Actions.)
