IT is activating safety tips and indicators for domain impersonation and first contact. These produce tips in the event that the system has noticed that either the domain looks suspicious or informing the user that this is the first message they have gotten from an address (which is an important warning if they thought they recognized the account).

IT will be enabling the Domain Protection within our phishing protection rules. This will capture messages from addresses doing email impersonations such as "@wpi.edi." In case a legitimate email goes into the spam folder users can flag the message as not spam.

The default protections for Safe Attachments are being enabled. This will screen for potential malware in OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, and Office. Items flagged as potential malware can be viewed and downloaded, but cannot be shared within the O365 ecosystem. The benefit is this prevents the spread of malware within WPI.
