Why?

The issue started after the March 11 release. Workday is working to resolve it.

Impact

Users need to access the Org Chart by searching for it through the search bar instead of the employee profile page. IT will post updates on this news post.

Details

There are 2 options for searching for the Org Chart in Workday.

  • My Org Chart - used for viewing your own org chart
  • Org Chart - used for viewing the org charts of other groups at WPI

My Org Chart:

  1. Type My Org Chart in the Workday search bar and click My Org Chart - Report. 

Org Chart:

  1. Type Org Chart in the Workday search bar and click Org Chart - Report.
  2. Enter the organization you want to view. (i.e. Accounts Payable)
  3. If more than 1 option appears, click the one you want, and click OK.
