Some lab and classroom computers are taking up to 30 minutes for login, on-premise network file shares are unavailable.
This is under investigation by IT
On some lab computers, the Welcome message displays, but it can take up to 30 minutes for login. This has been reported in (but not limited to) Fuller Labs, Higgins Labs, and the eLabs.wpi.edu server. On-premise file storage in department and academic shares are unavailable.

The workaround has been removed and direct connections are available.

Login and logout and lab and classroom computers currently takes less than 30 seconds.

\\storage-02.wpi.edu will temporarily replace storage.wpi.edu for file share mapping
