Please be aware that an unknown sender purporting to be President Grace Wang has sent a text message to at least one WPI employee cell phone number.  

Action Needed

Do not click on links in text messages from an unconfirmed sender. Even if the name is familiar, also check the number the message was sent from.

Details

The message was sent from +1 (657) 348-9205 and requested a response to, "Hello [NAME], let me know if you get my test. Thanks. Grace Wang."

This type of SMS text phishing, sometimes know as "smishing," is similar to business email fraud where the attacker impersonates a known executive to try to lure you to click links or respond with information. Please do not respond, open attachments, or click links.
