One of the security tools used to prevent phishing in WPI email accounts caused an abnormally high number of false positives for several hours, so some legitimate email may have been classified as Junk Mail.
On 9/26/23 from 2:46-3:00 PM there is a chance that some legitimate email messages may have been delivered to the Junk Email folder. This is estimated to have impacted less than .02% of email. As of 9/27/23 at 12:54 AM these messages should have been remediated and moved back to the Inbox.
We ask that you check your Junk Email folder as a precaution to verify no legitimate emails remain there. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the IT Service Desk.
