Recently, the Safelinks email feature, which verifies message links, was impacted by a Microsoft issue. It resulted in links producing a Service Unavailable error, or a long wait time without a response.
Information Technology would like to confirm that usually Safelinks should only take about 30 seconds to 2 minutes to open links and attachments. If you experience issues with emails that are taking significantly longer, please do not hesitate to contact the ITS Service Desk so that we can investigate.
