Why?
The new GlobalProtect VPN client replaces the former PulseSecure VPN for remote connections.
Impact
WPI laptops that do not already have GlobalProtect installed will receive it via Software Center while connected to the WPI network. For Windows 10 devices, a notification area in the lower right will display a GlobalProtect pop-up.
Action Needed
Please ensure WPI laptop computers are connected to the WPI network (either on-campus, or remotely using currently installed VPN or RAP) t0 receive the installation. The GlobalProtect client can also be installed on personal devices using the link in Actions.
Details
The GlobalProtect update notification will appear in the Windows 10 system tray.
