Why?
IT is creating a database snapshot for the Workday Student data conversion.
Impact
During the window all Banner services, including Banner Production Forms (INB) and Self-Service (bannerweb.wpi.edu), will be unavailable. The Banner database will not be accessible to internal or external applications. Reporting against the Banner database will not be possible. The outage is to ensure that no new transactions are entered either manually or via integrations during the clone. No work is being done to Banner.
Action Needed
Please plan accordingly for work requiring Banner. It is best to exit all Banner sessions prior to the outage.
