Why?
Network equipment is being replaced.
Impact
Intermittent network outages are expected while each connection is moved from the old equipment to the new equipment. The expected downtime for any individual computer, printer, IP phone, or other device is 30 seconds to 15 minutes.
Action Needed
Gordon Library occupants, this change is scheduled while the building is closed. For anyone who may be connecting during that time, please be aware of the change and email netops@wpi.edu if you lose connectivity for more than 15 minutes. For specialized equipment in the building, please confirm network connectivity after the maintenance window completes.
