Why?
Hosting for those services is being moved from a data center in Texas to a cloud instance in Amazon's Manages Service Cluster.
Impact
Services available through hub.wpi.edu and Cherwell will have intermittent availability during the move. This includes My Techflex, Student Intent Process, and My Tickets.
Benefits
After the move, there will be the following benefits: performance and speed improvements for the Hub and Cherwell, modern architecture for integrations to other Cloud services, and more reliability in hosting.
Action Needed
Please save items and logout of the WPI Hub and Cherwell prior to the move.
