Why?
The new Windows 11 Operating System (OS) preview has been made available by Microsoft for download and testing; the main release is due early 2022.
Impact
WPI Information Technology (IT) recommends not installing windows 11 at this time. Please refrain from upgrading to the full operating system when it is released, until IT has fully tested for hardware and software compatibility. IT-managed computers will be prevented from upgrading pending further investigation and development.
Action Needed
If you are acquiring a new computer, please make sure it has Windows 10.
