The new macOS, Big Sur, offers improved security. IT has tested Big Sur for compatibility and functionality.
Details
IT-managed machines: You may see Big Sur within Software Updates, now that IT has enabled the installation. You may proceed with the update, or request assistance from IT.
Personally-owned machines: IT recommends upgrading to the macOS Big Sur (Actions), especially for the enhanced security features.
Note: This upgrade may take up to a couple hours.
