Details

Dear WPI Community,

Bannerweb has dedicated the past few decades to providing highly customized service to WPI for all its enterprise resource planning, registration, and academic records needs. The IT News team is writing to share the bittersweet news that Bannerweb will be retiring from WPI effective January 31 at 5:00pm ET.

For years Bannerweb has joked with colleagues about how they're not cut out for these New England winters, so they plan to enjoy their golden years in their Florida beach house. They are looking forward to moving in on February 1 and getting straight to work on decorating it with over 5,000 lines of customized code.

Jonathan Eck collaborated with Bannerweb on writing their retirement transition plan, so please contact him if you have any questions about Bannerweb's previous responsibilities.

Roger Donahue and Dave Galvin are organizing a quiet retirement party to mark the occasion. They'll be taking Bannerweb out for drinks the night of January 31. Please contact Roger or Dave if you'd like the details.

Bannerweb has hands down been WPI's most extroverted employee, working with every single faculty, staff, and student for decades. There are many who will miss seeing them around campus.

On behalf of everyone at WPI, the IT News team would like to express its deepest appreciation to Bannerweb for their decades of dedicated service.

Sincerely,

The IT News Team
