Why?
Apple made changes to their print protocol to improve security.
Impact
As of 2/18/22 print queues will pause themselves rather than releasing jobs on affected macOS computers (versions specified in Details).
Action Needed
The printer will need to be removed and re-added with some slight changes to the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) listing. Rather than using smb://printers.wpi.edu/, please use smb://print-p-w01.admin.wpi.edu/

macOS Monterey computers running versions 12.2 and above
macOS Big Sur computers running versions 11.6.3 and above
macOS Catalina computers running versions 10.15.7 and above with Security Update 2022-001
