The message “wpi0-my.sharepoint.com refused to connect” appears when users try to load a shared Microsoft Office 365 document in the Chrome or Edge web browsers.

Details

The Canvas Collaborations tool is giving the error message “wpi0-my.sharepoint.com refused to connect” when users try to load a shared Microsoft Office 365 document in the Chrome or Edge web browsers. Canvas is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.

Workarounds:

1) Use the Firefox web browser to load a Collaboration document.

2) Create a OneDrive document and share the link in Canvas. Instructions from Microsoft to Share OneDrive Files and Folders are linked in Actions.
