Once a position has been created, either through submitting a Position Justification Form (staff/non-faculty) or a request for a new job submitted to Talent (faculty), begin the process for creating a Job Requisition.

Utilize these Workday guides to "Disposition" candidates through Workday. Dispositioning candidates means to move them along in the process, or end their process.
This section also provides information for offering and hiring your new faculty or staff member! Once an offer has been accepted, please allow up to two weeks from the initial job requisition posting for the hiring to be processed. Before an employee can begin employment at WPI, there are many steps and business processes along the way that require approvals. Please check with your next approver to make sure the process is flowing swiftly.
New hires will have onboarding tasks available to complete in Workday. The I-9 form and ID verification needs to be completed within 3 business days of their start date to avoid a delay in pay. Please contact talent@wpi.edu with any questions.
