Jason Jones is a man in a black polo shirt with short, black, curly hair and a short beard/mustache. He is smiling at the camera.

Jason Jones is Sr. Manager of Partnerships for The Last Mile, which is an organization that teaches technology and entrepreneurship skills to incarcerated people. The Last Mile aims to break the cycle of incarceration by teaching marketable skills to enable their graduates to work in the tech sector after their release from prison.

Jason first became involved with The Last Mile during his incarceration at San Quentin State Prison in California and he graduated from their inaugural coding class. Three weeks before his release from prison, he signed a work agreement for a software engineer position at a tech company. In 2019, he was the first justice-involved person to be accepted into the Lightspeed fellowship with a team from Stanford. In 2021 he graduated from the Koch Associate Program with a diploma in Market-Based Management.
